Active Shooter Training Discussed on The West Side February 26

Active shooter training for community members in western Wisconsin will be the topic of discussion on The West Side Monday, February 26 at 10 a.m. on 88.3 WHWC-FM/ Menomonie-Eau Claire and 88.7 WRFW-FM/ River Falls.

Host Rich Kremer attended an active shooter training at Dallas Lutheran Church in Barron County last month, and will share his observations of that event. Barron County Sheriff Chris Fitzgerald and Dunn County Sheriff Dennis Smith will join Kremer to discuss the active shooter training that their counties are offering in schools, businesses and churches.

The West Side is a call-in program focused on issues specific to western Wisconsin. The show airs on Mondays at 10 a.m. on 88.3 WHWC-FM/ Menomonie-Eau Claire and 88.7 WRFW-FM/ River Falls, with a live stream at www.wrfw887.com.
