Update on the Eau Claire Confluence Project on The West Side May 22

An update on Eau Claire’s Confluence Project will be featured on Wisconsin Public Radio’s The West Side on Monday, May 15 at 10 a.m. on 88.3 WHWC-FM/ Menomonie-Eau Claire and 88.7 WRFW-FM/ River Falls.

Guest host Dean Kallenbach will welcome Ben Richgruber, Executive Director of the Eau Claire Regional Arts Center, Mike Rindo, Assistant Chancellor for Facilities and University Relations at University of Wisconsin Eau Claire, and Linda John, Executive Director of Visit Eau Claire

It was five years ago this month that a public-private partnership to create a new arts center in downtown Eau Claire was announced.  The program will look back at the events leading up to the project, provide an update on construction and funding, and look ahead to the operation of the Confluence Center for the Arts.

The West Side is a call-in program focused on issues specific to western Wisconsin.  The show airs on Mondays at 10 a.m. on 88.3 WHWC-FM/ Menomonie-Eau Claire and 88.7 WRFW-FM/ River Falls, with a live stream at www.wrfw887.com. Listeners may call in with questions and comments during the program at 1-800-228-5615. Archives are available at www.wpr.org/programs/west-side-rich-kremer.
