Taking the Pulse of the Regional Economy to be Featured on The West Side June 23
The economic outlook will be on The West Side from Wisconsin Public Radio’s Ideas Network Monday, June 23 at 10 a.m. on 88.3 WHWC-FM/ Menomonie-Eau Claire and 88.7 WRFW-FM/ River Falls.
Host Rich Kremer will welcome Scott Hodek, a west central regional economist for the Department of Workforce Development and Brian Doudna, executive director for Eau Claire Area Economic Development Corporation.
Kremer and guests are going to take a look at the recent economy in western Wisconsin. Some of the topics that will be discussed will be the shrinking labor market and the release of a survey on regional skills gap.
The West Side is a call-in program focused on issues specific to western Wisconsin. The show airs on Mondays at 10 a.m. on 88.3 WHWC-FM/ Menomonie-Eau Claire and 88.7 WRFW-FM/ River Falls. Listeners may call in with questions and comments during the program at 1-800-228-5615.
