Local Beer, Wine and Spirits to be Featured on The West Side February 10
The rise in popularity of drinking local beers, wines and spirits will be on The West Side Monday, February 10 at 10 a.m. on 88.3 WHWC-FM/ Menomonie-Eau Claire and 88.7 WRFW-FM/ River Falls.
Host Rich Kremer will welcome Paul Werni, co-owner of 45th Parallel Distillery in New Richmond; Leos Frank, brewmaster and co-owner of Lazy Monk Brewing LLC in Eau Claire; and Joe Wynimko, co-owner of O’Neil Creek Winery in Bloomer.
The show will discuss the growth and benefits of imbibing locally. The guests will also talk about how they got into the business and some of the early challenges they faced in starting their operations.
The West Side is a call-in program focused on issues specific to western Wisconsin. The show airs on Mondays at 10 a.m. on 88.3 WHWC-FM/ Menomonie-Eau Claire and 88.7 WRFW-FM/ River Falls. Listeners may call in with questions and comments during the program at 1-800-228-5615.
