Area Free Clinics to be Discussed on The West Side

The West Side will discuss the current state of western Wisconsin’s free clinics on Thursday, February 14 at 5 p.m. on 88.3 WHWC/ Menomonie-Eau Claire.

Host Rich Kremer will be joined by Maribeth Woodford, the executive director of the Chippewa Valley Free Clinic, Mary Myers, the clinic coordinator of the Open Door Free Clinic in Chippewa Falls and Sandy Krautkramer, the director of the Rice Lake Area Free Clinic. Guests will offer their perspectives on how recent legislation, community need and current economic climates have affected free clinics.

The West Side is a call-in program focused on issues specific to western Wisconsin.  The show airs on Thursdays at 5 p.m. on 88.3 WHWC/ Menomonie-Eau Claire and 88.7 WRFW/River Falls. Listeners may call in with questions and comments during the program at 1-800-228-5615.
