Ace Ethanol’s Partnership with
Sweetwater Energy Inc. to be Discussed on The West Side
The West Side will discuss the new partnership between Stanley-based Ace Ethanol and Sweetwater Energy of Rochester, NY on Thursday, January 31 at 5 p.m. on 88.3 WHWC/ Menomonie-Eau Claire and 88.7 WRFW/River Falls.
Host Rich Kremer will be joined by Bob Sather, the director for public affairs at Ace Ethanol, and Jack Baron, president and chief operating officer of Sweetwater Energy. Both will offer their perspectives on the specifics and benefits of the partnership. Guests will also share what economic potential the partnership holds for western Wisconsin.
Topics will include Ace Ethanol’s use of Sweetwater Energy’s highly fermentable sugar, which is made from non-food products such as crop residue and woody waste. Ace Ethanol, deviating from the typical 100 percent corn formula, will ferment Sweetwater’s product into ethanol.
